My first painted piece that I am actually proud of. I spend ages on completing this one and while there might be bits and pieces I'm thrilled about - overall I like it.

I think my main problem is I prefer to see results right away - so while I don't mind working on details, they shouldn't take too long to finish. The second piece I've been working on is going to take a while. I can't seem to get it quite right so for now it's just sitting on my computer, waiting to be finished.

I have read the books and thought they were brilliant... but I haven't seen the series yet. I suppose I'm bothered that they might not live up to book.
