I'm playing with something that feels a bit out of my usual comfortzone these days. It all started with this piece that I created for a Danish Art Journal group. They are all hardcore creators and I'm the only digital artist. So I wanted to create something that could be done with regular paper and paint.
Then came the abstract challenge from the Three Muses and I began to enjoy these not so perfect paintings. It was more about putting feelings onto paper without using words. My head has been refusing to shut up lately, keeping me up all night, so creating without words has been a blessing.
From that point the mix of oil paint and vintage cutouts seemed to flow more freely from my pen and I've really enjoyed taking these artistic timeouts throughout the week.
I got to silence my head and as the week progressed, as you can see in my art, I seem more and more in control of my thoughts. Perhaps I'm not as lost after all.
